Ben Michalak

Meteorologist, Field Technician

Ben Michalak is a meteorologist and field technician at Earth Networks. In his role, Michalak focuses on installing and maintaining weather stations, installing high profile locations and mentoring other field technicians.

He has been with Earth Networks since 2006, working to ensure safe installation of weather tracking and alert systems across the United States. Prior to joining the company, he helped coordinate the beginning stages of Delaware County Emergency Management Agency’s own county-wide weather station network.

Michalak attended Ball State University where he earned a bachelor in atmospheric science. In addition to his position at Earth Networks, Michalak is a member of the National Weather Association.
