Whisker Labs Joins Prestigious Energy Excelerator

Collaboration with the Energy Excelerator on residential pilots in Hawaii will extend availability of Whisker Labs’ home energy intelligence platform to solar companies, utilities, connected home partners

Oakland, CA – February 2nd, 2017 — Whisker Labs, which is bringing next generation home energy intelligence technologies to market, today announced that it has been selected out of 337 applicants for the prestigious Energy Excelerator (EEx) – a program that works with promising cleantech startups to solve the world’s most pressing energy challenges.

Whisker Labs will be one of 12 companies in the 2017 cohort working with EEx on expanding the efficacy and scalability of Whisker sensing technology in solving residential renewable energy challenges. Whisker Labs’ sensing and software platform is poised to deliver on the full potential of the connected home by offering savings, automation, and peace of mind.

In December 2016 Whisker Labs launched its breakthrough do-it-yourself (DIY) home energy monitoring device and platform to deliver real-time power usage and diagnostic information for home appliances – without costly and complex professional installation.
