Germantown, MD – Earth Networks, the parent company of the popular WeatherBug consumer brand, promoted Amena Ali to senior vice president and general manager to head its expanding WeatherBug Home business unit. In her new role, Amena oversees business development, product offerings, go-to-market initiatives and strategic partnerships for WeatherBug Home for both enterprise and consumer markets. Amena joined Earth Networks in 2011 and previously served as chief marketing officer for the company.
