Live from Scripps Institution of Oceanography

Earth Networks and Scripps Institution of Oceanography, a part of the University of California, San Diego, today announce a collaborative initiative to deploy the largest global greenhouse gas observation network. This announcement coincides with a corporate rebranding of AWS Convergence Technologies, the parent company of WeatherBug, to become Earth Networks. This change is not just a new name: it reflects an expanded focus beyond its weather and lightning networks to include additional environmental observations and measurements, such as greenhouse gases.
